When you are searching for a
business it's not what
their advertising says that matters, it's what their customers say.
Do you need a mortgage broker, a great hair
salon, some new blinds, want to sell
your property or need someone to service your car?
A search of the on-line telephone directory
will find hundreds of businesses offering these services but how do you know
which are the businesses you can trust to do a good job?
The fact is that any business can buy
space in the local press, on-line directories or printed directories
and make great claims about
their business. Ultimately, it's the interactions
between consumers and businesses which provide the real "moments of
truth".
Our Goals
- word of mouth online
At ServiceStar we aim for this site to be the first choice for
consumers seeking quality service from businesses. We only list
businesses which can demonstrate great
customer service as rated by their customers.
Every business
owner listed on
this site has signed the ServiceStar Pledge and has
passed an independent assessment process which entitles them to be
listed as a ServiceStar Member. Businesses must
achieve an excellent score of 80% or more on both Customer Satisfaction and
Customer Loyalty to be eligible for listing. The results of their assessment and customer comments are
included in their ServiceStar listing.
Each business that earns ServiceStar Membership is re-rated annually so you can be confident that the businesses listed
here deliver consistently high customer satisfaction and loyalty. ServiceStar
businesses do pay for ServiceStar Membership but they cannot pay to influence their customer ratings
and we do not accept commissions for business generated through
their listing.

information on how businesses become ServiceStar Members.

For consumers, access to this site and to the information it
contains is absolutely free.

When you click on a category, business details
appear as in the reduced size example below. In addition to the
contact details and a description of that business's services, you
will see some important information on customers' ratings and
comments. This information has been obtained from our independent
survey of that business's customers. To become ServiceStar Members,
businesses must score
at least 80% on both Satisfaction and Loyalty. Businesses which
score between 80% and 90% receive a Gold rating, those over 90%
receive a Platinum rating.
In some instances you may see "Certification in Progress" under a
listing. This means the business has applied for ServiceStar
Membership and we are currently surveying their customers to
determine if they are eligible. They are not yet certified.
We want this site to
be as useful and
relevant as possible to consumers such as yourself. We
would welcome your feedback on what you think of the site
and how it could be improved. If you would like to offer
